Medium to longer term, I still believe this market trades lower, and we already know the playbook for later in the year. In the near term, though, the tape looks primed for a brief but powerful rally. The risk is a tariff‑tantrum style waterfall; the reward is capturing a sharp countertrend move and using those gains to reload for further downside opportunities later on. So, with that framework in mind we have two options, take strategic upside trades while staying cash heavy / hedged or just wait out the volatility into November.
